    Suspicious Folders (xp)

Yesterday around the time that I installed XP updates noticed that 2 new folders appeared on my my D drive... [not my main operating drive which is C]
    They have numerical/letters like 4ff2d89dd4088a7c124d4dd1d and 29dd985c3118bbcca188
If i open them there is another folder called sp1.... both the same.... when I open sp1 I get another folder called update.... in that folder there is a
    spcustom.dll
    update.exe

Have NOT activated this .... IS this of some importance..... is this some Virus

    Worried

    See MSKB 329260
