Figure Captions and TOC (Word 2000 SP3)

We have some documents where some of the graphics need to be locked to a position on the page and not move with the text. The text is to wrap around the figure and its caption; additionally their associated captions are required to be listed in the table of figures.

The positioning and wrapping requirements have been achieved by placing the graphic and caption within a text box. This results in the caption not being recognized when the Table of Figures is created.

Does anyone out there know of an approach that will satisfy all three requirements?

    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Don

Right click on the text box and choose "Convert to frame". Then right click on the frame and set its position to be relative to page. Here is an example for you.
