    Outlook 2000 read reciepts ((9.0.0.2711))

    Hi,
    Just wondered if anyone knows if you can have the original message returned with a read reciept, and if so how?

    Yes, when a lot of emails are sent out covering a variety of legal type matters, linking the read reciepts to the particular message gets a little tricky and I thought if the read reciept contained the original message it would help.

    Well in theory, and assuming the recipient honours read receipts, the original sent message logs receipts - see below. However, it is fraught with problems - see <post#=211707>post 211707</post#> - so hopefully someone else might suggest an alternative method...

    You could add a unique code to the end of the subject line, but that could excite the spam filters, so...
