    spamming (Outlook office 2000)

Spam is really loading up. I get an average of 40 emails a day, about 35 of them spam. Is there anything that one can do that doesn't involve answering SPAM messages advertising spam-stopping software?

Well, first, never buy anything from a spammer, ever.

Second, there are a proliferation of anti-spam solutions available. It has been discussed many times on this board, Outlook Express, Software Finds and Wants, and perhaps elsewhere.

The product I use is out of date and a little hard to train, but you can find related threads using its name: SAProxy.

Absolutely do NOT answer them; it will validate your e-mail address as a target for further spam. See the recent Software Finds thread starting with <!post=this post,360599>this post<!/post>. You'll also find more interesting discussion if you Search this Forum for "spam".
