    Filtering subforms

    hi everyone,
What I've got is one form containing General details for an order, the subform contains the specifics. The header form and subform details are being stored in seperate tables.
    (1 - many)

What I'm trying to do is, once the form is opened up it only displays details that haven't been archived

The archived attribute is filled by checking a check box.

When I try to filter by form it works, however when I quit
and re-enter it doesn't. I won't pretend to understand this. Don't suppose anyone has an idea?

    Thanks everyone,
    robin. <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>

    Re: Filtering subforms

Is your subform based on a table or a query? If it is based on a query then the filter you want could be included as criteria in the query.
