    Rounding (2000 sp3)

I have a very very complex query that is used to append data to a table. In both query select view and append preview, my numbers are showing up with the appropriate number of decimals but in the final table (to which the data is appended), all numbers are rounded to integers ie 5.4678 become 5. I have checked table and query setting for format and these seem Ok (long integer) and even changed the query format for these numbers to general number with 2 decimal places but end result was numbers being rounded with no decimals
I am I just running out of grunt _ it really is a complex query - or am I missing something stupid

Has the field in the table been defined as an integer? If so, then there are no decimal points in an integer field.

Why not make the fields either a Double or a Single data type.

First thing, you are not stupid.

It happens to the best of us, and I'm certainly not one of those.

    I'm glad it fixed it.
