Inanimate smileys and the click of death

Pardon the sensationalization of subject. My question is merely that after I open the Smilies and insert one into a post, when I return to the Smilies page they are no longer animated. I feel like I have clicked them to death each time.

Is this normal behavior for the Smilies?

What's normal these days - they (mis)behave that way for me too.

Once that page loses focus, the smileys are 'deactivated.' A simple 'refresh' (CTRL+R On most browsers) will correct the problem.

You don't really need them dancing around ALL the time do you? <img src=/S/wink.gif border=0 alt=wink width=15 height=15>
