    Thank You (2000 SP3)

Just a heart felt thank you to all the contributors in this group (especially , but not limited to, Hans). It is truly wonderful to know that when the bloody thing wont work and its 3 o'clock in the morning and you've run out of ideas and beer, there are people out there who not only know the answer but give freely of their time and knowledge to help. You personify the true meaning of the Internet
    Thank you all

    <font color=blue>Run out of beer?</font color=blue> Friend, you have much larger problems than just application issues! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
I, too, agree that the Lounge is a truly extraordinary social environment. It not only represents a compilation of the very best advise one can receive, it is the very best at any price. Just try getting this quality of help from a "Help" desk. I can't say enough good things about the Lounge (and particularly the Access board; just ask anyone who knows me) so I'll shut up now.

I'd like to add my thanks as well. But would especially like to include Charlotte. Both she and Hans have saved my receding hairline on may occasions.

As to the beer, what kind of Aussie are you anyway. It is aacrilegee to allow the beer fridge (yes! down under we do have fridges dedicated to only holding beer) to empty. Try the following code:-

    If Beer is Null then
    Check_Fridge("Cold Chardonay")
    else
    Call Closest_Friend(emergency)
    End If

I feel like I've let the side down - As a boy from Wagga Wagga (you can't get much more Australian than that!!), I of course didn't actually run out of beer, but got down to the last carton - which at 3 am is still pretty scary
PS re the beer fridge - you mean people keep other things in their fridge than beer; God isn't science wonderful
