    Parsing (formula error) (XP)

    We exported data from a database application into Excel. (The application was not Access, BTW.) In Excel, on column displays the date and time a student completed a course in our learning labs. We've never tracked the time

    Are your dates numbers or is it text that looks like a number?

    If it is a number and you just want the date format as "m/d/yyyy" and you don't need to parse it.
