    Overflow (2000 SP1)

I have a report that is built off a query with a few fields. The report is sorted to deliver [Region] first is Asending order, then [zone] in Asending order. within the zones there are several locations that are listed in the report detail and I am reporting a sales ratio. When I use the 'Sorting and Grouping' to add the measure within the detail to be sorted asending the report does not run and I get the Overflow message box.

Why can't I sort by this measure???
    There is always a way.

Overflow means that a number has become too large. This could be in a calculation in your report, or something in the internal working of Access has become too complicated. Without knowing more about the design of the report, it is hard to say.
