Excha Newbie - x400?

Excha 5.5 on NT4 Server SP6a (we're migrating soon!)

If I remove an "Internet" email address from a mailing lists "email addresses" tab (e.g. allstaff@acme.com) and leave the x400 entry - will my users still be able to send to this list internally (via the global address book)?

Obviously, I trying to remove the ability for these mailing lists to be sent to from the internet, but allow full functionality within our domain.

Personally, I don't think it uses the X400 address either.
However, it appears to be a very simple thing to test - simply create one and send some mail <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Removing the "Internet" address does not prevent delivery of mail within the Exchange server site, so the x400 address must be used internally; but it does prevent delivery to the mailing list from the internet.
