    Plot Data (Excel 2002)

I was given this function Y=X3+X2 +5 (X3 the 3 should be superscript the power of 3 and X2 the 2 should be superscript the power of 2.)
I need to plot the function for X values between 1 and 5
And was asked could I add a trendline to the data

Not sure what to do? Help??

    Re: Plot Data (Excel 2002)

    Simple,

    In columnA, enter the x numbers, e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4,.....
    in column B this formula:

    =A1*a1*a1+a1*a1+5

Copy down so you have the same number of cells filled as in column A.

Now select both columns and start the chart wizard.

Make sure you select the xy scatter type of chart.
