Make custom toolbar available (Word 2000/XP)

    Hi folks
How do I make a custom created toolbar created in the Normal.dot template available on other computers when I send them the document.
The document does not recognise the toolbar even althought I have requested that it be visible in the document Open command.
    Reards

Normal.dot is probably stored on your hard disk, so other users have no access to it. You can store the toolbar in the document instead of in the template. If the toolbar buttons execute macros from your normal.dot, you will have to store the macros in the document too.
    To do so:
    - Open the document.
    - Select Tools | Templates and Add-Ins...
    - Click Organizer.
    - Activate the Toolbars tab.
    - You'll see a list box for the document on the left hand side, and for Normal.dot on the right hand side.
    - Select the custom toolbar.
    - Click the <<Copy button
    - Do the same in the Macros tab, if necessary.

Note: if users have macro security set to Medium (recommended), they will get the standard macro warning when they open the document. If they have macro security set to High, the macros will not be available.

An alternative if you're on a network would be to copy the toolbars and macros to a custom template, make the template available on the network and attach the document to the template.
