    Transporting toolbar (2003)

Is it possible to copy the outcmd.dat from a desktop machine to a laptop and
have the toolbars consistent on both machines or does outcmd.dat contain specific
folder references that will 'mess up' any attempt to use on another machine?

The desktop application (toolbar) has been customized, includes macros and
has several addins. If install the addins on the laptop, copy the vba code,
should moving the dat file then be safe or are there other files I need to
    move in addition?

    Thanks.

I don't know if there would be lasting negative effects, but if the recipient rejects the transplanted file, you can remove it and Outlook will grow a new one.

For completeness, I moved the outcmd.dat and the vbaProject.otm files and everything is now duplicated on my laptop w/o a problem.
