    Dropdown Default (Excel 2000)

    Hello -

Is there a way to enable an in-cell dropdown (created using Data -- Validation with Allow = List and Source is a named cell reference) to always default to display from the top of the list? The problem is that if you select a value, the next time you click on the dropdown it is the first value displayed in the list. (you have to scroll up to display values occurring earlier in the list) What I'd like it to do is always display the list beginning from the top of the list.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Howard
