    WordPerfect

A PERFECT WORD is a word in which ANY one letter could be replaced by another letter to form another word.

An example of a 4-letter Perfect Word is CAST because C could be replaced by L to form LAST or A by O to form COST, or S by R to form CART, and T by E to form CASE.

    1#Warm Up Exercise : Give a 5-letter Perfect Word.

    2#Challenge : Give a 6-letter Perfect Word.

Note: UK or US spelling accepted.

    Re: WordPerfect

Nice puzzle. So far, I've found a bunch of words that are 80 and 83% perfect! Still working on it... <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

    Re: WordPerfect

Not quite, Jerry. Each letter of a perfect word must be able to be replaced in turn to produce a new word.

    Re: WordPerfect

Hmm....well, here's a 5 letter perfect word but I admit I had to cheat to find one of the words on the list:

    <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #000000; font-weight: bold"><font color=yellow> Lakes:
    Cakes
    Likes
    Lanes
Lakhs</font color=yellow></span hi> See Here for more info on this word
    <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #000000; font-weight: bold"><font color=yellow>Laker</font color=yellow></span hi>

    Re: WordPerfect

This is the best I can do for 6 letters, and even I would probably disqualify it. The most obscure offerings have links to sources...
