    Pivot Tables (2000)

I have a pivot table that provides me with a Sum of quantity, and a sum of value for a given set of data. I want to use these two figures to provide an average value per quantity. e.g. Sum of value divided by sum of quantity against each data item in the pivot table. Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance

Several approaches, Depending on what you are after:
    1) you can add a column to your data that calcs the individual Value / Quantitiy and then it can be added to the pivot

2)You can add a calc field:
    Right click table
    Formulas -calculated field
    Give it a name
formula is (change field names as appropriate)
    =Value/Quantity
and then you can average this

    3) you can add a column outside the pivot to calc value/quantity column and copy it thru the column

A calculated field worked a treat.

    Many Thanks
