control size and placement of pop up form (XP/2K)

I have seen some ideas for placing a pop up form placed exactly where and the size you want. Can anyone point me in the direction of something good and that works. Can there also be a way that the size would be dynamic, meaning the form expands with the number of records?
    thanks

For example of dynamically resizing popup form (based on number of records in continuous-view subform) see this previous post:

This post has sample database attached, you may be able to adapt some of this for your purposes. Another recent previous post:

This also has demo db attached that demonstrates use of Windows MoveWindow API function to dynamically resize/reposition popup form on screen. Using the Windows API functions is most reliable way to accomplish this, as factors such as the user's current screen resolution & other Windows metrics must be taken into account. Again you may be able to adapt some of the techniques demonstrated for your purposes.
