Gray Box Display Issue (XP)

I have code that does a print out of various sheets every second or so. I have noticed that between the print dialog box being displayed there is a gray box about 2/3rd the size of the dialog box. Does anyone know why this would be appearing? Is it a resource issue? I have Application.ScreenUpdating = False with in the code.

I guess this is why...

When you do a "Application.ScreenUpdating = False" you are not updating the screen and thus when the print dialog box displays the first time, it will not be erased from the video screen after its dismissed by the software.

I would suggest you turn ScreenUpdating on and off once before the printing and then after the printing is done so that once you activate the worksheet, if you are, it will be off, but then when you print, it will be on.

I some times have a dummy worksheet with all visible cells painted Gary. And I do all displays on this worksheet which looks like a background.

Its a tricky thing this screen updating...
