I cannot get to the Outlook dialog box that allows me to add a .pst type folder.
When I right click on the Outlook desktop icon, all I get is a dialog box titled "Internet Accounts". This dialog box only allows me to add,
delete or modify my internet mail accounts. When I'm in Outlook and I check "Help" and "About Microsoft Outlook", it comes up and indicates
"Internet Mail Only" directly under the Microsoft tradename info (the second text line in the dialog box). I ge this regardless of which
Outlook icon I right click on: the Control Panel version of "Mail", the root directory with the Outlook program, the desktop icon etc. All
give the same "Internet Accounts" dialog box.
The problem is, I cannot get to the dialog box that allows me to add a .pst type folder. I re-installed Outlook. I did not remove or
delete it first, just re-ran the installation from the CD: same issue. I deleted the icon from the desktop and re-entered the Registry
Key to get the original Outlook icon back on the desktop: same problem. In "Control Panel" ==>> "Add/Remove Programs" there
is only the MS Office program, not an individual Outlook program so I would have to delete in its entirety and re-instal (not my
favorite pastime but if it must be it must be).
Any idea(s) as to what I did wrong during installation that would result in this situation and how to correct it ?
