Exit Frame in Navigation Bar (2002, sp2)

I have a framed webpage that I want to add a navigation bar to. However, I want the links in the navigation bar to exit the framed page. In other words, open a different website, without the frame, in the same window.

Is there an easy way to do this in FrontPage? Seems adding a navigation bar isn't the ticket.

Oy, Jefferson, when I see your table it is white text on a white background!

Mark, I've changed the text to blue on "linen." I had used the white background to make sure the black border was visible. I guess it's something of a no-win situation trying to change colors in the Lounge. <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15>

This is governed by the TARGET attribute of your link. Normally, in a framed site, your TARGET is set to the name of the other frame. However, to totally replace the frameset, you set it as follows:

Replace the full window with some other site

My HTML book lists these special targets:

    <table border=1 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=5 bordercolor=black bgcolor=linen><td><font color=blue>Value</font color=blue></td><td><font color=blue>Meaning</font color=blue></td><td><font color=blue>_blank</font color=blue></td><td><font color=blue>New window</font color=blue></td><td><font color=blue>_top</font color=blue></td><td><font color=blue>Entire window, replacing any frameset</font color=blue></td><td><font color=blue>_self</font color=blue></td><td><font color=blue>Same frame the link is in</font color=blue></td><td><font color=blue>_parent</td><td><font color=blue>Parent frame set (not sure how this differs from _top)</font color=blue></td></table>
    Hope this helps.

Thanks, Jefferson. I wondered if this had something to do with my use of a non-default skin.
