    Master Documents (2003)

Not sure if this belongs in Scuttlebutt - but is there any word on whether Microsoft is ever going to fix Master Documents? I mean a master document takes more memory than just putting all the subs into one big document! How counterproductive is that!
When will they design it like Ami Pro did, or PageMaker? Now *they* got it right.

Both your PC's memory and your's. Yours so that you can remember all the valuable material that you had in the inevitably corrupted master Document set. Maybe that's why Word also has INCLUDETEXT and RD fields, which give pretty much the same level of utility of a Master Document set without all the grief ...
