    unipue records (2000)

Hi, I have a report that is filtered from a form, where I am wanting to select a single customer as the criteria, taken from a combo box. The row source is a query, but unfortunately the customer can be listed numerous times. (Yes, the database is set up with related tables, but there is good reason why there are multiple entries in this particular query/table). At the moment, the combo box will display each customer as many times as it appears in the query.

How can I modify this query (or better still, create a new one) to show only unique entries without duplicating customers? Thereby having each customer appears in the combo box once? Can anyone help?

    Thanks... Roger

    Woja

In the query design of the combo box (Rowsource) you can modify this by using the "Totals" button on the query menu.
This will add an extra line in your query.
Select "Group By" from the query, this should solve your issue.

To get to the query design of the combo, select properties in design view, the to the right of the Row Source, press the icon with the three dots.
