    Access FTP Application

Hi, Can anyone help me with some FTP problems please?
I have an Access97 application that i need to deliver and would like to include the ftp process for the user to get information to our website without needing IT assistance.
I have a form on which i have placed a Microsoft Internet Transfer Control ver6(SP4) but cannot get it to log in to our website.
I can carry out 'Get' method with the anonymous login but as soon as i put the username and password values in there is an error on the line of code containing the get statement. The line previous - iobj.execute iobjURL,"open" - passes without error.
I have checked the password and username with my records and a colleagues so am happy that this is valid data. has anyone done this before and can lend me their experience ?
    The offending line is ..
    IObj.Execute IObj.URL & "/about.html", "get"
    where iobj.url is...
    <A target="_blank" HREF=http://usernameassword>http://usernameassword</A>@our.web.server.uk:1080

look forward to any comments !

    Re: Access FTP Application

The links are too complicated for me to understand enough to manipulate the code to get past our proxy/firewall etc.
Does anyone else have any ideas please?
