    Error in calculating the min/max values (97 SR1)

    Hello,

    I am trying to calculate the min/max values from a X/Y data that is linked to another worksheet tab of the same file. I get #N/A error when I use the equation =max() and =min(). I have #N/A entries hidden in the table that I do not want the user to see (by conditional formatting). What the best way to fix this problem? I have attached a spreadsheet that I am working on.

    Thanks,
    Hanan.

    You can use array formulas. In B24 enter (confirm with ctrl-shift-enter):
    <pre>=MAX(IF(ISNUMBER(B$8:B$22),B$8:B$22))</pre>

    In B25:
    <pre>=Min(IF(ISNUMBER(B$8:B$22),B$8:B$22))</pre>

    Copy B25:B25 to C24:C25
