    Specific Text Identification (2000)

Hi, I hope all loungers are ok...

I have a worksheet with rows of related numerical and textual data. All the numeric data is in the same column and all the textual data is in another column. Is there a way to search out, find and identify all entries of a specific string? For example, would it be possible to find all entries containing the word "site", highlight all of these entries and then group these rows such that they are either all at the top or bottom of the spreadsheet.

    Any help is most appreciated!

Not quite what you want, but have you considered using Data | Filter | AutoFilter to filter the rows containing a specific string?

Instead of AutoFilter, you can also use Advanced Filter; this has an option to extract the filtered rows to another location.

    Auto Filter did the trick.

    Thanks!
