    Excel Sumif (Office 2003)

    Need help on this one...

I need to do a "Sumif" query on a range of cells in the same worksheet. If I do a "Sumif" on ranges "A:C", I only get the results based on range "A:A". How do I modify my formula to bring back all numbers in range "A:C"?

Hope that my question is understandable!

You didn't specify what kind of condition you have, but in general, you can use an array formula like this:

    =SUM(IF(comparison_range=comparison_value,sum_rang e))

Array formula means that you must confirm it with Ctrl+Shift+Enter. Examples:

    =SUM(IF(A1:C100="Oregon",A1:C100))

    =SUM(IF(E1:E100=37,A1:C100))

    Thanks Hans,

    I'll give this a go.
