Document prints left side on Inkjet, w/ Laser Full (Office Prof 2003)

Some of my documents seem to print only the left half of the page on 2 different inkjets, but on my laserjet I get the whole page to print as it should.
The document has some excel links, but does not appear to contain tables, just a regular 8.5 x 11 letter. Could be when i paste link an excel formula it messed with the formatting but why the difference on inkjets Hp, vs HP laserjets with the same document. Any one seen this before

    Hi Jerome:
I don't have Word 2003, but the first thing I would do is check with HP for the latest printer driver, especially since it works with one printer & not the other.

I have the latest drivers, and it is just not 1 inkjet but now 3 different inkjet models that are problematic and 2 different laserjets that print the document fine. And just not one document but any document with excel links in it. Weird it is restricted to the inkjet line and does not appear in the laser jet line

Maybe it's caused by a setting called something like "Use printer metrics". You can find that in Tools | Options, on the Compatibillity tab. We found that the printed result can differ very much from printer to printer if this item is ticked. That's why we always advice to clear this item.

Very interesting, I looked at this settng and unfortunately it was not checked. So this could not be causing the problem.
    Thanks

If you were to print to PDF first, and then print the PDF to the inkjet printer. What happens? Just trying to rule out any problem with the printer driver (software or configuration) itself.

If print to pdf driver, Looks fine on screen and prints fine to inkjet printer.
