    Full Screen Mode (Outlook 2003)

OK, I've got an annoyance that's driving me crazy. Outlook persists in opening in the full scree mode; I didn't ask it to, and I cannot figure out how to make it stop. Any suggestions appreciated. It's probably some ridiculously easy procedure, so my apologies for the bother.

Right click on your OL shortcut, select "properties" and in the Run dialogue, select Normal Window.

Or if it starts up every session because it's in your Startup Folder, find Startup under your programs menu, and follow Rebels' advice from there.

Thanks, John. I checked and "Normal Window" is already selected. I knew it could not be this easy. Sigh.

OK then. With it open at full screen size, click on the "restore Down" icion (double page next to the close icon in the top right corner). Then, resize the window to the size you want. Then close and reopen. It should retain the smaller window size. Possibley what has happened is that someone has actually opened Outlook in the normal window state and then resized it to occupy full screen.
