    Transfering Text (Access 2000)

I have 200 text files that I have that need to be imported into Access to analyze. I have set up a specification so that once I have the file named it will import the text properly. I need to know if there is a way that it will prompt me to enter the file name. For example, one text file is named C:my documents20040514085680T.txt. Another is named C:my documents20040514085680P.txt. I want it to prompt me for the txt file because the folder will be staying consistent.

    Thanks.

If you want to import 200 files, wouldn't it be easier to put them all in a folder, and let VBA code loop through the .txt files in this folder to import them. Easier than being prompted 200 times.

That would be a lot easier but I am not sure of the code. Can you help me out with that? Thanks.
