Express and Office Service Pack 2

I use Windows 98, and I only use Excel and Word from Office 2000. My email is Outlook Express. I have not previously installed Office 2000 Service Pack 2 because of some of the things that have been stated in Woody's newsletters. The recent "Mere Mortals," Vol 2 No 07, leads me to reexamine the issue. Does anyone know whether the discussed "Email Security Update" works on my Outlook Express as it does on Outlook. (Then I wouldn't want it.) If it would leave my Outlook Express alone, what else is in it, and what are the pros and cons of using "Service Pack 2?" Thanks

Re: Express and Office Service Pack 2

outlook and outlook express are two totally different programs.

the email security feature is outlook only, not express.

please post pros and cons to installing SR2 in the thread in general office solutions.
