    Odd AutoNumber Style (Office 2003)

I need to create a Style that is totally foreign autonumbering in Word. However, Pima County Superior Court, in Arizona has demanded this type of autonumbering be used in any document filed in their court.

Word normally goes from A. B. C. etc. to AA. BB. CC. etc. The court is requiring the numbering to be AA. AB. AC, etc. I thought I could create a style for this special numbering but I found, very quickly, that I did not know how to do it.

First, can it be done? Second, is there anyone who can help me with this?

See Nifty Numbering in Word on Cindy Meister's website. The second subject is 'Generate a number sequence like Excel uses to number columns'.

Thank you, Hans. I do not use Excel very often and was unaware of the numbering sequence it uses.

Once again The Lounge has saved by bacon.
