Bookmarks and places visited (internet explorer 6)

Can someone tell me how I can use Windows Explorer to find the files where my book marks are located. I have some old ones I'd like to delete to make my viewing easier when selecting them while on the internet. Also, where the links I've visited are using Windows Explorer so I can view them and delete them also. Thanks, John

Do a search on your machine for Favorites and you can go to that folder and delete all you want.
Each OS stores the Favorites differently.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

You can manage your Favorites from within IE also. Just go to Favorites | Organize Favorites. You can also delete your History folder entries from within IE. If you want to keep less History go to Tools | Internet Options | General and adjust your history settings.

Click the Favorites menu and then hold down your Shift key while clicking "Organize Favorites." Your Favorites will automatically open in a Windows Explorer window.
