    Word Printing Macro (Word 2000/SR3)

    Hi,

    I'm looking for some VBA code to add to a macro for printing a document - what I want to be able to do is give the user a combo-box on their userform which shows the list of printers currently installed on their machine, so they can choose what printer their document prints to rather than their document just printing to the default printer.

    Thanks in anticipation!

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

    The thread starting at <post#=87919>post 87919</post#> in the VB/VBA forum contains several methods to obtain a list of printers. Oh, and by the way, you can invoke the standard print dialog from your userform:

    Dialogs(wdDialogFilePrint).Show

    The user can select the printer in this dialog.

    Why not use the Word built-in dialog:

    Public Sub FilePrint()
    Dialogs(wdDialogFilePrint).Show
    End Sub

    This dialog contains a listbox with all available printers.

    (Added: Well, Hans beat me to it... Again!)
