    Connecting two pc's

    Hi All,

Is there an easy way to connect two pc's together to transfer over 2 gig of info? This is related to my post about File's showing up as folders. Since I'm having trouble getting a CDRW to work, I thought it might be easier to connect to a pc that has a cdrw and copy the data that way.

Since neither pc has a network card, I thought there may be a way to use the parallel port to transfer the data.

    Any suggestions?

    John

I'd suggest taking the hard drive from the so called "bad PC", and putting into the "good PC" as a second hard drive (temporary). Files could then be copied / burned / moved as required.

That is of course, if there is room in the "good PC" to accept the hard drive.

Good call. I'm going to get it tonight, put it in a newer pc and backup the data there.

    Thanks.
