    Auto-pan photos? (2003)

I would like to set up a slide show with PowerPoint that would auto-pan over a large photo or panorama shot. This of course would be viewed on a monitor. I could not find anything in the help or the online article database

An example, with photo compressed enough to upload to the lounge.

I don't know if this has moved in PowerPoint 2003, but in PowerPoint XP you access this from Slide Show > Custom Animation, select your photo, Add Effect > Motion Path > Left.

You see a line with red arrowhead and green tail. The green tail shows where the centre of your image will start and the red one shows where it will end. Just drag the red one sufficiently far to the left.

I tried to post an example but couldn't get the powerpoint with a long photo down to a sensible size.
