    Follow Up FLag Reminders

Is there a limit as to where follow up flags can be set in order to get the reminder to pop up on the screen?

If I set a follow up flag with a reminder on a message in my Inbox, the reminder came up just fine. But when I set a follow up flag with a reminder on a message in my sent items folder, or a message in my Personal Folders, I never saw the reminders at all. Just trying to figure out why....

they only fire within the default folders, except for sent.

    Mary,

Could you elaborate on your reply regarding follow-up flags firing. I'm trying to set a reminder for a task in a task sub-folder and it doesn't seem to work.

    TIA - gene.wood@zomba.com

    MJ,
Is this true for Outlook XP, not just 2000?
    Thanks

    Re: Follow Up FLag Reminders

it's true for all versions of outlook - flags only fire in default folders. There is a utility at http://www.slovaktech.com called extended reminders that will fire them from any folder. Works only on mailboxes at this time though, not public folders.
