formula for count (excell 2000)

    To all in the know,

    I currently have a group of cells in a row that I have set with conditional formatting. The formatting changes the color of the font to, red, if cell result is under 100% , or green, if 100 % or over. What I would like is to create a formula using COUNT to give me a result of the number of cells that are GREEN in color. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance for the help

    The easiest solution is to create a COUNTIF formula that uses the condition itself, not the conditional formatting, for example

=COUNTIF(A1:H1,">=100%")

    If you really want to use the conditional formatting, see Conditional Formatting Colors on Chip Pearson's website for an example of the non-trivial VBA code needed to do this.
