    calculation in form (XP)

Does anyone know if this is possible? I have a form with check boxes - a YES box and a NO box. If the Yes box is checked, it has a value, such as 10. After the person goes down all the questions and fills out the form, I would like to add the values for a Total, based on the Yes boxes they checked. All the Yes boxes have different values. Is there any way to say something like "if it's checked, it equals this" and then be able to total them? If so, where would I put that? Thanks!

You can set an On Exit macro for the check boxes, assuming they were inserted from the Forms toolbar. See attached zipped document.

I tried it and it works! Thank you for including the file so I could use that.

This is great Hans. I had never thought of doing this, but I can see how useful it would be. I always seem to pick up great ideas from the LOUNGE!

    Thanks
