    Restore button (2000)

Hello, I guess this is straight forward but I just cannot get a form in my application to behave as I want. It is a single form application where the form opens maximised with a custom tool bar. The form though has the restore button on in I don't want. I have scanned the properties but to no avail, next I have tries having it as a pop up form, which does the trick but the form is then huge and far bigger than the Access window?

    Thanks

A maximised form always displays a restore button; this is not the fault of Access, but the way the multi-document interface in Windows works. There is a kludgy workaround that uses Windows API functions to simulate a maximised form without a restore button. It is clever, but I don't like it - in my experience, its behavior is flaky. If you want to try it, see API: Remove Close button from maximized forms on the Access Web.

I myself have stopped using maximised forms a long time ago.

Thanks Hans, I'll go with your respected wisdom and not bother to use.
