I don't see a userform in your file to invoke. Could you please attach one?

    Sal,

We can help you by answering questions to specific questions. If necessary, we will suggest bits of code. But we cannot develop your software for you, that is beyond the scope of the Lounge.

The workbooks you attached in the thread starting at <post#=368340>post 368340</post#> contain a userform with a text box and command button for searching. See screenshot. So I suggest that you look at those workbooks to see how the command button works.

I don't understand. What does a scrollbar have to do with your original question about searching?

Yes, but what does the code for a scroll bar have to do with the search button?

I think you should ask the person who designed these userforms to help you.

Re: USER FORM TO SEARCH (2000 sr 1)

    1. Scroll bar:
    - Open the Indirizzario form in the Visual Basic Editor.
    - Select the scroll bar.
    - Set the Value property to 0 instead of 4.

    2. String
    - The procedure named primo exits if the first cell is not equal to the search value, instead of going on to the next cell.
    - I am sure the search code was working correctly in the spreadsheets attached to the earlier thread, so I don't understand why it was changed.

See attached version (reduced in size from 2.5 MB to 283 KB !)

Re: USER FORM TO SEARCH (2000 sr 1)

If you compare the code for partial search to the code for exact search (primo), you will see that the offsets used are different. You must use the same offsets in primo as in the partial search code.
