Deny users the Filter option (Access 2002 /SP3)

I'm controlling access to records by filtering on the basis of the current user. However, the menu still contains the option to remove Filter/Sort.

Does anyone have a suggestion for preventing this?

Set the Allow Filter property of the form(s) to No. You can still set and remove filters in code, but all menu and toolbar options related to filtering will be grayed out.

Thanks - here I was planning a huge complicated thing. Thank goodness I don't need to do it!
