    Page size limitation (Word 2002)

For as long as I remember, MS Word has had a page size limitation of 22 inches. I need to create a larger 20x30-inch page in Word--not Publisher or a page layout program--does anyone know how to get around this limitation?

Re: Page size limitation (Word 2002)

The 22 inch limit has to do with the way Word handles pages (internally, everything is measured in twips; 22 inch is about the max that can be expressed in twips in a 16 bit signed integer), so there is no way to increase page size.

Perhaps your printer allows blowing up a print to a size larger than 100 %, but quality would suffer a bit.

One possible workaround, bearing in mind your requirement not to use page layout software, would be to scale the page to a proportionately smaller size, output the final result to a PDF file, then set Adobe's print setting to scale the page to fit the paper on the printer doing the output.
