    Payment Schedule (Excel 2K)

    Howdy,
I'd like to setup a payment plan. My son owes me $6500 for a car and he is going to pay me in 36 months. How can I create a payment schedule at 2%? I would like to be able to change the interest percent as it is tied to the fed etc. Thanks

Is he going to pay you monthly? How often would you like to change the interest rate?

Does this do what you want?
Month 1 has slightly different formulas than the rest. Month 2 formulas are just copied down the rows.

Monthly payments with the interest rate changing when the rate on my home equity loan changes. About every 3 months, maybe more if Greenspan gets crazy.

Maybe this Excel add-in (Calculate Payments) will help.
    See the attached Word.doc instructions.
It is free upon direct request.
