Default worksheet format (MSO 2K SR1-a)

I set up a template in Excel as the default sheet (fonts etc.) and then saved it as "Cocuments and SettingsCharles W BillowApplication DataMicrosoftExcelXLSTARTsheet.xlt" ...

    But it ain't coming up.

What the heck have I missed here?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

Sheet.xlt will be used when you insert a new sheet in an existing workbook (Insert | Worksheet). Did you also create a template Book.xlt? That's the one that will be used when you start Excel, or click the New button on the toolbar.
