    Field order in a datasheet (Access 2000)

    I want to change the order that data is displayed across the screen in a datasheet view of a form. The form gets it

    Datasheet view does not conform to the tab order in design view. The user can drag the columns in datasheet view around, and Access will store the order in which they are displayed when the form is closed.

    You can drag the columns back to the original order in datasheet view. I admit it's a, well, a drag.

    Thanks Hans,

    I spend my days pulling fields around in Queries. Why on earth I didn't think of doing it in the datasheet view I cannot think. I am hanging my head in shame!
