    Format Separate Tables (Office 97)

    Hi

    I have 326 documents that each include at least five separate tables, I need to format all the tables Indenticaly, However if I highlight all the tables only one table formarts, Is there any way to format all the tables in a document all at once.

    As far as I know, Word 97 does not support formatting multiple tables at once. You might try recording a macro that formats one table (select it before starting to record), then apply this macro to the other tables.

    It is possible to write a macro that opens each document in a folder in turn, formats each table in the document, then saves it. But that requires familiarity with Word VBA. It might be worth the effort if you have 326 documents.
