    ASP to PDF

I know there are a bunch of COM objects and the like to render PDF dynamically from, say, an ASP page. I'm just starting to look into this and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with this kind of technology.

What I have in mind specifically is simply this: a user submits their data to a db via ASP. I want to be able to read back the info an dproduce a very crisp, professional PDF report/file on the information stored in the db. I don't need to use PDF for forms, just to create PDF on the fly. I can do something similar with RTF but I think PDF is much slicker in some ways.

    any suggestions?

One that I see advertised a lot, for what it's worth, is ActivePDF, whose server-based products seem fairly comprehensive.

    Two suggestions (neither is cheap):

    - Data Dynamics' Active Reports
    - Microsoft's SQL Reporting Services (actually, it's free if you own SQL)

Both of these are VERY powerful, yet mostly easy to use (if you're already a developer)...
