    Option 1: open the form in design view, and set the Data Entry property (in the Data tab of the Properties window) to Yes. Of course, this means that the form will always open on a new record, unless you open it in code with a different DataMode argument.

    Option 2: Set the startup form in Tools | Startup... to (none). Create a macro named AutoExec. Add the OpenForm action, specify the name of the form and set the Data Mode argument to Add.
