    Alphabetizing E-mail addresses (Outlook 2003)

When I click "New" a "Untitled Message" appears ... good so far. When I click on the "To..." in order to enter an e-mail address a box shows up "Select Names" in which the names are in alphabetical order by the FIRST name. Is there any way to have these show up alphabetically by the LAST name ? And is there any way to have this same list just show e-mail addresses and NOT fax numbers ? Thanks in advance for any help !!!

    See this <!post=star post,102995>star post<!/post>.

On the fax question, no, because Outlook can support faxing (with some differences between versions). However, there's a commercial solution from Sperry and see also <!post=this,265740>this<!/post> post and it's parent posts. <!profile=unkamunka>unkamunka<!/profile> has noted that you can hide fax numbers in a contacts folder with Custom Views, but I'm not sure that hiding them in Contacts View keeps them out of the Outlook Address Book.

The "star post" and the Sperry download solved both problems ... thanks for the help.
